Dawn R. Headings, FNP-BC

Ms Headings chose to go into nursing because she has always been interested in medicine and, particularly, working with families. She has a special interest in pediatrics, internal medicine and orthopedics. “Being a nurse practitioner at FHA gives me a chance to spend more time with my patients and enables a patient-specific, holistic approach to each encounter unique to them and their needs. I enjoy developing relationships with the people I get to see and know.”
Dawn worked as an RN for 20 years, mostly in out-patient, community settings in the Willamette Valley, before receiving her advanced degree from Georgetown University in 2014. She is board certified in Family Practice and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She and her husband live in Hermiston with their three children. They enjoy watching and supporting their children in various sports, including college basketball, running, hunting and various other endeavors. They enjoy spending time with family and friends. Her favorite places to vacation include Disneyland and anywhere with an ocean and a beach.
